By incorporating a Short Code and Keyword in to advertising, whether it be print or radio, the consumer is prompted to respond to the ad through their mobile phone and receive a coupon that is redeemed at the retail point of purchase. The coupon contains a UPC or bar code which can be scanned by most POS systems and provides fast and measurable campaign results.
